Day 1: Coast to Tsavo East via Malindi & Marafa Scenic drive, cultural stops, geological wonders, lodge arrival
07:00-11:00: Pickup from your coastal hotel (Diani or Mombasa). Drive north along the scenic coast road to Malindi (approx. 2-2.5 hours).
13:00-14:00: Lunch stop at recommended Swahili restaurant in Malindi. Enjoy traditional coastal dishes like biryani, coconut fish curry, or grilled seafood.
15:30-16:30: Arrive at Marafa Hell's Kitchen (Marafa Depression). Guided tour of the stunning sandstone gorge with dramatic red, orange, and white rock formations. Perfect photo opportunity in afternoon light.
17:30-19:00: Continue journey inland through baobab-dotted landscapes and semi-arid terrain. Enter Tsavo East National Park through Sala Gate with possible wildlife sightings en route.
19:00: Arrive at safari lodge. Check-in, freshen up, and enjoy dinner.
20:00: Evening at leisure. Lodge briefing about tomorrow's activities.

Day 2: Full Day Tsavo East Game Viewing Morning and afternoon game drives, wildlife encounters
06:00-09:30: Early morning game drive in Tsavo East National Park. Best time for predator sightings (lions, cheetahs, leopards) and elephants heading to water sources.
10:00: Return to lodge for full breakfast.
11:00-14:00: Mid-morning leisure at lodge. Relax by the pool, enjoy lodge facilities, or take in views from your room.
14:00: Light lunch at lodge.
15:30-18:30: Afternoon game drive exploring different sections of the park. Visit Aruba Dam (seasonal) for hippos and crocodiles. Spot large herds of elephants, zebras, buffalos, and various antelope species. Watch for Tsavo's famous red elephants - dust-bathing gives them their distinctive color.
19:30: Dinner and overnight at lodge.

Day 3: Tsavo East to Coast Morning game drive, return journey

09:30: Return to lodge for breakfast and check-out.
10:30-14:00: Drive back to Diani/Mombasa (approx. 3-3.5 hours) via Bachuma Gate and Voi town.
14:00-15:00: Optional lunch stop at Voi Wildlife Lodge or local restaurant.
16:00: Arrival at your coastal hotel. Drop-off and end of memorable safari.
