Day 1: Nairobi Airport to Masai Mara Airport pickup, scenic drive, afternoon game drive

07:30: Pickup from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Meet your safari guide and fellow travelers. Safari briefing and orientation.

08:00-13:00: Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve (approx. 5-6 hours) via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. Photo stop to admire the stunning escarpment views.

13:30: Arrive at Masai Mara safari camp. Check-in and enjoy lunch overlooking the Mara plains.

14:30-15:00: Relax and settle into your accommodation.

15:00-18:00: Afternoon game drive in the reserve. Introduction to Mara's incredible wildlife - watch for lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, buffalos, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras.

19:00: Return to camp for dinner under the stars.

Overnight: Masai Mara Safari Camp

Day 2: Full Day Mara River Excursion Mara River exploration, migration viewing, lunch box

06:30: Early breakfast and prepare lunch boxes.

07:00-17:00: Full-day excursion to the Mara River. This is the famous crossing point of the Great Migration (July-October). Even outside migration season, the river area offers excellent wildlife viewing with resident hippos, crocodiles, and predators.

Activities throughout the day:

  • Game drives along the river banks
  • Picnic lunch at scenic spot overlooking the river
  • Migration crossing observation (seasonal)
  • Photography opportunities of dramatic river crossings
  • Predator hunting along the banks

17:00: Return to camp as the sun sets over the Mara.

19:00: Dinner and overnight at camp.

Overnight: Masai Mara Safari Camp

Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru Morning in Mara, transfer to Nakuru, afternoon game drive

06:30-08:30: Optional early morning game drive (at additional cost) or leisure breakfast at camp.

09:00: Check-out and depart Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park.

09:00-13:00: Scenic drive through the Rift Valley floor (approx. 4-5 hours) to Lake Nakuru.

13:30: Arrive at Lake Nakuru lodge. Check-in and enjoy lunch.

15:00: Relax and freshen up.

16:00-18:00: Afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is famous for:

  • Millions of flamingos creating pink shorelines (seasonal)
  • Black and white rhinos (both species present)
  • Rothschild giraffes
  • Tree-climbing lions
  • Over 450 bird species
  • Baboons and various antelope species

18:30: Return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli Early morning drive, Emali curio stop, Amboseli game drive

07:00: Early breakfast and check-out.

07:30-12:30: Drive to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi outskirts (approx. 5 hours).

13:00-14:00: Lunch stop at Emali Junction. Browse authentic Maasai curio shops for handcrafted jewelry, carvings, and souvenirs. Support local artisan communities.

14:30: Continue to Amboseli (approx. 1 hour).

15:00: Arrive at Amboseli lodge. Check-in and relax.

16:00-18:30: Afternoon game drive in Amboseli National Park. Marvel at:

09:00: Return to lodge for full breakfast and check-out.

10:00-13:30: Drive to the coast via Voi town (approx. 3.5 hours).

13:30-14:30: Lunch stop at Voi Wildlife Lodge or local restaurant.

14:30-17:00: Continue journey to Mombasa or Diani (approx. 2.5 hours).

17:00: Arrival at your coastal beach resort. Check-in and relax after your incredible 5-day safari adventure.
